Learning from Geeks for Geeks👨‍💻

For the past 1 week I have been solving problems on Geeks For Geeks and here are some of the things I learnt. Now for those who don’t know what geeks for geeks is,it is a coding platform where you can solve coding questions which software companies ask for in their coding rounds.

  1. Consistency -It is one of the most important if not the most important thing which is necessary for a coder in order to achieve a command over problem solving. It doesn’t mean that you have to solve a fixed number of problems everyday it means showing up everyday even if you are not able to solve any problems.“Consistency is simply the art of showing up everyday no matter what the circumstances”.

  2. Approach-Before i started solving questions on GFG i had a misconception that one question can be solved by only one method, but when i started GFG after i saw that a question can be solved using various approaches. Remember these questions are not MCQs where there'll be only one correct answer.

  3. Give your 100%-Yet another important thing is to give your best while solving problems and not proceeding towards editorial or comments for seeing solutions. I have seen many people doing this when the are not able to solve problems,I highly recommend not doing this during your coding journey. This reduces your own capacity of thinking as to how to approach the question.

These were some of the things I learnt during this short span of coding on GFG which i have shared with you.
Thank you for reading till here.
Have a nice day!
